Tihanee, mum of one

“I love the extended family time we are able to have with my Mum being part of my daughter's learning.”

Tihanee first joined Mount Playcentre as a toddler with her two younger siblings and wanted her daughter to be able to create the same great memories as she did. She now attends with her daughter alongside her Mum, who now gets to enjoy Playcentre as a Grandparent.

“Playcentre offers the most amazing preschool education benefits for our tamariki! My daughter is very settled and comfortable and has been attending since she was one. She gets into everything - the painting, play dough, messy play, family play, as well as the sandpit, water and physically active areas”. 

Tihanee really appreciates the child-led learning and the family-based approach. “We also enjoy the family events like Matariki and the Christmas parties, where Dads and extended family all come along”.
